17 years ago, we were headed to Bangkok and had a 2 hr layover in Tokyo. My mom said, are you crazy, change it to 2 days. So we did. We stayed at Dai-ichi hotel near Ginza. Tired, in a new place, we asked this beautiful specimen of a concierge were she would eat sushi and she send us here. There has not been a trip to Tokyo without 1 or 2 stops at this place. So where else would we go our first night back in Tokyo after 10 years 1 month and 10 days later?
Needless to say, it was wonderful. And dirt cheap. Just as I remembered it.
And after all this food…..we got dessert. Actually we went for a long walk. Then got dessert.
